I remember Maxine doing my hair one day and telling me she was going on a blind date that night. The date was Andy and the rest is history!!!!!!

Maxine first styled my hair when I was 21. She has been responsible for me having hair in every single colour! I’ve had long hair, short hair, updo’s galore, zig zag parted hair, straight hair, curly hair and everything in between! She is truly talented and every single colour and style I have adored. Some people learn their profession Maxine is gifted - a natural talent knowing what will suit a client and what won’t. She had a vision for her own salon which is not only steeped in sustainable solutions but luxury - where you feel you are experiencing a personally curated treat not just an appointment. She has turned her dream into reality and has a dedicated team who will help continue her vision into the next chapter.

As a curly girl, I know that not every hairdresser understands cutting and styling for curls but I have learned that I am in safe hands with Maxine. Max immediately put my hair and me at ease, and the bad experience was transformed into a proper professional haircut. Firstly, I am a hairdressers nightmare! I have fine, thin hair and can't wear a fringe. Maxine changed all of that when I first found her talent in Stourbridge. Maxine looks at the face and the hair and does an ingenious blend of both. Both her cut and colour abilities surpass others. I remember the first time she cut my hair it was not a style I would have chosen but it worked and always looked good with only a brief blowdry by myself at home. When I moved away Maxine was really missed. However, on the rare occasions I popped back 'home' I managed to get to her for my hair treat. To this day no hairdresser has surpassed her cut. Well done Maxine and all of the staff she has helped surpass themselves and many more years to come. Connie xx

Oh my! How many years have I shared with Maxine and her team! My mum (Kath) has known her since she was a teenager at Nicholas Davis and has been a regular ever since - even travelling to Stourbridge! I am second generation Maxine and my daughter Tilly is third generation! Maxine is an outstanding hairdresser in all respects - not least her expertise, care for good hair and customer care. It may even be longer than 5yrs . My curly hair is not easy and Maxine has always given me the very best of advice , especially in later years when I have experienced hair loss . It was important to me to use a hairdresser that used products that are kind to the hair . Again Maxine gave me confidence in the advice she has given me. My first visit to Maxine in August 1999 for a restyle and a blow dry changed my life! For the first time you made me love my own hair! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I quickly realised that a weekly visit was the way forward for me. So for the next 19 years I enjoyed weekly blow drys from one of your team and regular trims from you.
Aimee and Alex were the main two wonderful stylists who transformed me on a weekly basis. It was such fun.

I moved to Cornwall in 2018 and without doubt my visits to Maxine Morgan were the thing I missed. The welcome from Sarah, catching up with you, admiring the latest floral arrangement with a waft of sublime scent from a candle. I booked my appointment with Maxine, just before she brought the place. I loved her warm friendly personality, straight away. She has always listened to me and we have some marvellous conversations over the years. The staff are always lovely and happy to see you.
I have gone from long to short over the years . With a fringe, without. Curly, straight and choppy. Blonde to red to growing out to grey- which did not last that long. Back to red now. I always fancy a change and Maxine is happy to accommodate, apart from when I ask to have my short hair cut long.
Maxine is a wonderful person and I believe everyone who passes through the salon door feels the same welcome as I do. It’s an absolutely pleasure to have my hair done , I feel very lucky to have met such a talented person.
